CPD – Boulton discussed (Thursday 12 Feb @ 1pm)

The Court of Appeal in R v Boulton [2014] VSCA 342, handed down just before Christmas, has given its first Guideline Judgment. It is very significant. A number of cases since then have resulted in sentences of a CCO where otherwise immediate imprisonment might have been expected.
