The Criminal Bar Association is pleased to announce the launch of the CBA website.

The aim of the website is to provide an easy resource for practitioners to assist them in their practice. Whether it be checking the latest court protocols surrounding COVID, finding out the most exciting CPDs and other research tools, or just wanting to know whether there will ever be a CBA dinner, the website will be the place to look.

Currently the website consists of pages relating to:

  • News and updates (where information of the kind circulated in the CBA members update emails will be uploaded).
  • Past and upcoming CPDs and events.
  • Online resources.
  • The role and structure of the CBA.
  • Links to other relevant websites (including for example courts, chambers, and other Bar Associations).

A members-only section is in development.

CBA members update emails (such as this) will continue to be sent. We anticipate however that as time passes there will likely be occasions when it will be quicker for the CBA to share information via the website.

Anyone with feedback or suggestions in relation to the website are encouraged to contact Paul Smallwood (smallwood@vicbar.com.au) or Ffyona Livingstone Clark (ffyona@vicbar.com.au).
