The Department of Justice and Community Safety (DJCS) is undertaking an evaluation of the trial use of the digitally recorded evidence in chief (DREC) statements by family violence victim survivors using police body-worn cameras. The evaluation of the trial is being conducted to review whether the use of DREC is meeting its objectives, how effective and efficient its use is, its impact on victim survivor experience and other stakeholders, justice system impacts and whether any changes are required. Legal practitioners who have been exposed to DREC statements are asked to complete the following survey: https://djcs.syd1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_7VuE5IFiq57J8JE.
