The AGM will be held at 5.00pm on Thursday, 24 November 2022 in the Bar Council Chambers (located on Level 1 at Owen Dixon Chambers East).

Please find attached the AGM Notice.

Positions to be determined by election at the AGM are:

  • Chair;
  • Vice Chair;
  • Treasurer;
  • Secretary; and
  • Four ordinary Committee members.

Members are reminded that nominations must be in writing, signed by two nominating members and accompanied by the written consent of the candidate and must be delivered to me by email (smallwood@vicbar.com.au) by not later than 5.00pm on Thursday, 10 November 2022.

Voting for any contested positions will be conducted online. All members will be able to vote, whether in attendance at the AGM or not. It is anticipated that voting will open at 9.00am on Tuesday, 15 November 2022 and close at 5.10pm on Thursday, 24 November 2022.
